Well I have Galaxy J7 2015 and one day I thought how awesome it would be if I could  connect my Galaxy J7 with my HD TV. So I started searching on internet about it. I found that I need a Smart TV to do so and not only this but there should be screen mirroring option in my J7 too which i checked there is no screen mirroring option in J7. 

I own a non-smart Samsung TV so i started finding another solution to it and one day I somehow figured it out and found this method which i will explain you and its very simple method.


How to screen mirror any device to your HD TV and make your TV a Smart TV? (Samsung Galaxy J7 or any other smartphone in this world e.g. Apple Iphone, Lava, Karbonn, Sony, oppo, Vivo, Mi etc)

Requirements

• A TV with HDMI port and USB port (can be of any brand).
• A device named Anycast or related device. 
• A smartphone with Android 4.4 or above or Any Apple Device.
• Apps to be downloaded from Play store- Airserver and AllConnect (For Android Users only who don't have inbuilt option in their mobile to cast screen as devices like Xiaomi have inbuilt feature when you go in the display settings.)

Note- For apple users there is no need to download any app they have inbuilt option of Airplay.

Steps to connect your smartphone with your HD TV (Non-smart Tv) and making your TV a Smart TV:-

Step 1 

• Connect the Anycast Device in the HDMI port of your TV. 
• You have to put the dongle in HDMI port and usb cable of it in the USB port.

Step 2

• Now turn on the HDMI mode of your TV from your remote.
• You will see a screen like the one shown below if your mobile doesn't have cast screen option inbuilt.

• You can switch between Airplay and  Miracast mode by clicking on the button on the dongle.
• The left one is for devices which have inbuilt cast screen option.

• You have to keep the screen like this shown for first time setup.

Step 3 

Now go to your Wi Fi settings of your mobile and you will find WiFi named Anycast and connect it to it with password mentioned on the your TV screen. By default it is 12345678.

Step 4 

After successful connection with Anycast WiFi open the internet browser of your phone and  type the URL mentioned on the TV screen i.e. 192.168.49.1

Step 5

A webpage will open with 3 icons showing on it and each have different functions as explained in the image below. 

The first one on the upper side is for connecting your Anycast dongle to your home WiFi router and to your mobile too which is connected to Anycast WiFi. 

By this you can watch and stream live Youtube videos on your TV from your smartphone.

Step 6

Now after successfull connection of your Anycast dongle with your WiFi Home Router download the following two apps:-

Airserver

Allconnect

Step 7

For screen mirroring your smartphone to your TV:-

*First be sure you are connected to WiFi named Anycast.*

Open AirServer app and it will show Anycast name and just click on it to screen mirror your device.

For Streaming Content

• Open AllConnect app and you will see a lot of options of streaming like videos, pictures, music or live youtube videos.
• Select any option and select the Anycast option when it demands.

So by these methods above you can screen mirror your Smartphone to your HD TV. As mentioned above it is valid for any smartphone available. I did the screen mirroring for Galaxy J7 you can do it with your any brand mobile.

Not only this but this makes your Non Smart TV a Smart TV and it is the cheapest method available and easy too.
