Android P to hit these HTC devices soon with confirmation.

HTC U11 Life(Android One)/U11+/U11 & U12+ are confirmed to get Android Pie.

Woohoo! Good news for the HTC users. Yes, you heard it right it is confirmed. The Stable version of android P was released by Google a few days ago for Google Pixel/XL and Google Pixel/2XL. On the other hand, companies like Samsung, Huawei, LG, and HTC didn’t participate in the Android 9 Pie beta program. HTC has now revealed which of its phones will receive the Android Pie update.

HTC has confirmed via Twitter that the company will roll out Android Pie updates for the HTC U11, HTC U11+, the Android One variant of the HTC U11 Life, and the company’s current flagship, the HTC U12+. The company states that time frames for the update roll-out will be announced in due course, so it doesn’t seem as if the Android 9 Pie update is especially imminent for HTC phones.
