How to root Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for N960F/FD variant?

As the title says today we will be suggesting some steps to root Samsung Galaxy Note 9 but as it was suggested by the developer he told that it is an experimental guide.


Note- >

1. Warranty will be void.
2. You may lose the OEM unlock option.
3. You won't be able to use Samsung Pay or Secure Folder.
4. Try it at your own risk.

Let's proceed further for rooting Samsung Galaxy Note 9:-


Download Section-

  1. Download Latest Magisk Manager
  2. Download Patched Kernel.
  3. Keep Stock ROM file in case it doesn't work.

Steps to install:-

  1. At first, you have to enable OEM Unlock. You will find it in Developer options. Enable them if you have not enabled them earlier by tapping continuously on Build Number option in Settings>Software Information>Build Number 
  2. Extract Patched Kernel and you will find a file named--  N960F_Kernel_patched.tar.md5.
  3. Now Flash it using the latest Odin with AP tab.
  4. After the flashing and rebooting of the device has been finished Install the Magisk Manager you downloaded.
  5. EFS Backup Tool
    As soon as you root device, you must make backup of EFS and must store a copy of the backup to a safer place like on cloud and on a PC.
